In summer 2022, Taxiarchoula Kanati debuted at the Salzburger Festspiele as Sibylle in Carl Orff´s “De Temporum Fine Comoedia,” conducted by Teodor Currentzis and directed by Romeo Castellucci. Ms. Kanati has performed mezzo-soprano roles including Dido, Carmen, Charlotte, Composer, and Orlofsky. She made her first appearance as a soprano in March 2024, singing Ortlinde in “Die Walküre” at the Greek National Opera, in a production conducted by Roland Kluttig.
